Class Definitions
Showing
Puppy Class is confined to dogs of six month and under twelve
month of age on the day of the show computed from and inclusive of
its date of birth.
A Junior Class is confined to dogs of twelve month and under
eighteen month of age on the day of the show computed from and
inclusive of its date of birth.
A Maiden Class is for dogs that have never won a prize in any
class at any show.
A Novice Class is for dogs which have not been awarded two
first prizes in any class other than Puppy Junior or Maiden.
An Open Class is for all dogs.
The Veteran Class is for dogs over seven years of age on the day of
the show, computed from and inclusive of the date of birth.
After the Classes there is the Best Dog and Best Bitch than the Best
in Show
Shore Work
The shore is an 11” square tunnel of different lengths and either
straight of with 1 or 2 bends. This event will be run on time, the
fastest dog up the shore and strays to work the scented rag will be
the winner of his class.
Class 1 is a 16ft. straight shore
Class 2 is an 8 ft. straight, a 90 degree bend and an 8ft.
straight, equals 16ft plus 1 bend.
Class 3 is an 8 ft. straight, a 90 degree bend and an 8ft.
straight, a 90 degree bend the other way and an 8ft straight. This
equals 24ft plus 2 bends.

Weight Pulling
The dogs are fitted with a harness which is attached to a
trolley/slay with their own class weight on a trolley. Males will
compete against males in their weight category, and females will
compete against females in their weight category.
The class weights are:
Class 1 30lbs to 35lbs.
Class 2 35lbs to 40lbs.
Class 3 40lbs to 45lbs.
Class 4 45lbs to 50lbs.
